The Hellenic Mediterranean University has successfully completed the certification process of its Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS).

The certification process was organized by the Hellenic Authority of Higher Education (HAHE), and carried out by a five-member External Evaluation and Accreditation Committee, consisting of internationally recognized academics. The Committee visited the University on March 10 and 11, 2025 to thoroughly examine the processes of the Quality Assurance System implemented by the Institution, met and spoke extensively with the Rector’s Authorities of the Institution, the President and members of the MO.DI.P. Committee, the executives of the QAU, Internal Evaluation Groups (OMEA) of the Academic Departments, the faculty members, the undergraduate, graduate students and doctoral candidates, the graduates, the heads of administrative units as well as with representatives of productive and social entities that collaborate with the University.

The Committee  also visited many areas of the University.

The evaluation covered all areas of action of the University, including education, research, administration and strategic development.
